Beaches in the municipality of Silves
Armação de Pêra beach
This beach is about 3 km long and is one of the largest beaches in the Algarve.
Much of the coast has several bars with terraces, shops, restaurants and a wide pedestrian walkway.
It is very popular in the summer, especially between the months of June and September.

Praia Grande - Pera
This beach offers an extensive sandy area of about 2 km of natural landscape, practically untouched by human hands.
It is possible to take a nature trail along the beach and Lagoa dos Salgados, a perfect place for bird watching.
The sea is normally calm, excellent for swimming!
